The location was very good, and the room was clean. The host was polite and helpful, and there was a coffee machine for the parents to start the day and hot chocolate for the kids. A nice stay!

I called to reserve a room for two adults and one child, and have never been met with such rude, unprofessional staff. The guy took offense that I wanted to book for my child, then insulted me and Romanian culture for traveling with children. Apparently, their rooms are so small they can barely fit a bed. Avoid this place. That attitude has no place in a civilized society.

We chose this centrally located hotel for a weekend in Craiova. It sits right by the entrance to the pedestrian inner city area, and the renovated rooms made a sleek, modern impression. There’s no reception or lobby, though, so checking in was a bit confusing.

The bed was comfortable, there was enough furniture, and I appreciated having a kettle with tea and coffee provided. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the prices are great. It’s a small, low-key hotel with no obvious signs, so the entrance is easy to miss. It sits right on the street, with a little balcony over the sidewalk. The bathroom is cramped, and water from the walk-in shower runs into it. The walls are thin, so noise carries from the next room, and traffic outside is bothersome at night. The heat wasn’t on, which left the room cold overnight and in the morning.
