The two things going for this place are that it accepts pets and is fairly close to the main essentials in Craiova. It was also affordable and not far from the train station, which helped since we booked in a hurry. But we were unhappy with the stay. It was dirty, uncomfortable, and impractical, and the condition didn't match the listing. We only booked it for a night's sleep because we were desperate for somewhere to stay. The biggest problem was the shower. It's so narrow that only slim people fit properly, and getting warm water was a nightmare. I ended up soaked in freezing water while waiting for it to come through the right shower head. There was also a suspicious yellow lump stuck to the shower floor, like melted candle wax. I'd seen it in another reviewer's photos, and I hope that's what it was, though I doubt it. I spent the whole shower trying not to step on it. It made me want to avoid showering altogether, which is awful when you're traveling and looking for basic comfort and rest. We chose the studio so we could save money and cook simple meals, but the kitchen wasn't equipped as advertised. There was one old pot and a few sticky knives, forks, and plates, but no frying pan or other cookware. We didn't trust the pot and couldn't cook without a pan. The sofa is tiny and terribly uncomfortable, more like decoration than a place to sit. The TV is about four meters away in the hall, so you can't reasonably watch it. The bed was fairly comfortable, but the linen didn't look clean, and the walls around it were extremely dirty, with shoe marks and other questionable stains. The lighting was good. There was just one socket in the whole apartment, nowhere near the bed, which is ridiculous when travelers need to charge several devices overnight. A kitchen cloth would have helped too. One afternoon we came back to find a huge trail of ants coming from under the floorboards and circling our food. We were there in October, when it was freezing, and we kept the place clean, so I can't imagine how bad that might be in summer. I think the apartment could become good, but it needs a lot of cleaning and a few basic fixes: a frying pan, a kitchen cloth, and more sockets, or at least an extension for the single one. We were grateful that it was affordable, pet friendly, and close enough to the station to make things easier. Thank you.

There's plenty of street parking, the Wi-Fi is good, and it felt like good value for money. The apartment is spacious and clean, with a large kitchen, a double bed, and a comfortable sofa bed. I recommend it, though I gave four stars because there was hair on the floor and the bathroom smelled bad.

We picked this place based on its Google and Booking ratings, then were really disappointed by the cleaning. The photos of our little one's legs and feet say enough, and the bathroom mats were disgusting too. The owner is always reachable by phone and tries to help, but I think they need to hire different cleaning staff. This isn't acceptable.

The bed was very comfortable, and the apartments had everything we needed for a quick trip to Craiova. It's a handy location, about a 10-minute walk from the main square and close to the stadium.
