She was pretty rude. We had checked out of the room by 10AM, but she was really bothered that we finished our coffee in her garden afterward. Apparently the 10AM checkout means your feet have to be completely off her property right on the dot, or she'll literally throw you out while shouting and using nasty words.

We loved our stay. The rooms were really clean and comfortable, the service was great, and the price was good for what we got. It's also close to both the city center and the train station. I'd recommend it.

The owners were helpful and flexible, and this place exceeded my expectations. The room was huge and new, with a large bed, a great bathroom and a very spacious shower. There's A/C, strong free Wi-Fi, and two full size refrigerators if you pick up food at the central market. You can eat, drink and watch the large screen TV at the tables and chairs in the courtyard. The location is excellent, right beside the central market and two blocks from the main street. The Danube is a 10 minute walk away, with great fish restaurants nearby. I'd definitely recommend staying here in Galati. Great value for your money!

All three rooms we rented for the night were clean and ready to use, and the fans came in handy. There's an outside eating area, and the lobby’s have fridges where you can store drinks. casa Stefan was affordable and reliable, close to the cool things to see in Galați, even though there's not that much to do or visit. I had an excellent experience and would stay there again if I were passing through.
