The atmosphere was really peaceful, and it was a great place to unwind after long activities during my Erasmus+ project. I stayed at Hotel Horezu and everything was amazing: welcoming staff, delicious food every day, and clean, comfortable rooms. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Horezu!

The place across the road cost 130 lei, and its conditions were far better and cleaner. Here, Booking.com showed 114 lei, but when I arrived they quoted 120 lei. After seeing the room and the higher price, I changed my mind. I would never recommend this place.

The bathroom and the window both had bad smells, and our room was cleaned only once during our 10 days there. The food was low quality and the portions were very small. Nobody at the hotel spoke English. I don't recommend it.

The soup was okay, but the minced meat was still raw. The waiters weren't friendly, and one was on the phone while serving us. They didn't try to understand our order, then tried to charge us more than we had or the price shown on the menu. I can't recommend this restaurant.

Horezu is a charming village, with a historic church and a medieval monastery. The hotel has good conference facilities, keeps the rooms clean and can accommodate groups of more than 50 people. It's a good hotel.
