There’s plenty to do here: you can rent bikes or ATVs for the trails, and there’s a lounge with billiards as well as a large dining hall with karaoke. The rooms were warm and tidy, and it’s a nice place to switch off for a while. We came for a team-building trip, though some colleagues had rooms with heating trouble and a sewage smell, so I’d check about the room before booking. The railway beside the cabins can also disturb light sleepers at night. Still, I think it’s worth trying.

The owners were lovely and the food was good. We had a nice stay, though the wooden room made quite a bit of noise and the freight train passes very close to the rooms. If you’re after a quiet weekend, I’d still recommend it.

We ate well, and the staff were friendly and happy to help. The place has a cozy, rustic feel. I’d definitely recommend it.
