Puflene Resort

We were left in a corner while two groups who had reserved restaurant tables during the same period were given their spots. It didn’t feel right to be treated as second class guests when we were paying too, and they could at least have told us in advance. The buffet wasn’t varied, didn’t live up to what a buffet should be, and I didn’t like the taste. The room furniture was very old, and the spa wasn’t working even though it was listed in the offer. I wouldn’t come back. The price is high for the quality.

There’s a lovely garden with a playground for kids, and the restaurant’s large terrace was nice. The menu doesn’t have many options, but the food is very tasty. The rooms are spacious and clean. We also enjoyed our stays in both the apartment and the bungalow.

Don’t miss the boat ride through the Delta on the resort’s boat. It was fantastic and unforgettable. The grounds are charming, with a huge park for walks and bird watching across the property’s 10 hectares, plus a beautiful large pool. We ate delicious fish and local dishes at the restaurant. Our spacious apartment had two terraces, was clean, and opened directly onto the garden.

The prices were very high, and the service didn’t match that range. The lady did her best, but she brought us a dish we hadn’t ordered. A small serving of chicken cost 35 RON, and the wedge potatoes were disappointing frozen ones. The kind you can buy at Lidl are better. I would have rated the experience differently if prices had been 40% lower. I only ate at the restaurant.
