For Neptun, it’s pretty close to the beach. The rooms feel old and dated, but at an affordable price it does the job if you just need a good night’s rest.

The lobby and rooms had a bad smell, and the bathrooms were dirty and covered in limescale. The furniture was old too. From the hotel stairs, you can see the squalor next to a dilapidated building.

I made a Booking reservation, and then an aunt called to beg me to cancel because the price was wrong, even though Booking and the hotel had emailed me confirmation. In the end, they canceled it themselves over the price. Miserable people, hired on a shoestring, as in Romania. Nothing new, and then they complain that people stay elsewhere.

The view would have been nice without the dilapidated hotel nearby. Inside, you can see how the years have passed, and the place feels like going back in time. The price isn’t justified, and it needs improvements. I wouldn’t pick this hotel or Neptun again.

It’s a shame they haven’t invested in this hotel. It’s close to the sea and could use some improvement.
