Pensiunea Vranis

The room was spacious and the bed linens were clean, but the place fell short of what we expected. The bathroom was extremely dirty, especially the toilet seat and the wall beside it. It looked as if the cleaning staff had only put up the “sanitized” sticker. We told the receptionist, and since it was late and no cleaning staff were around, she had to clean it herself. The bathroom also smelled, probably because of a sewage issue, and sound insulation was poor enough that we could hear what was going on around us. I wouldn’t recommend it; there are better options in the area for the price.

The rooms were nice and the view was good, but the food was bad and the waitresses seemed bored. I’m giving it 2 to offset those fake 5s. Otherwise, I think it deserves 3 stars.

It’s a large hotel with a big garden, and the service was very nice. The location was cool too, though it was a shame to have it right next to the road.

I’ve stayed here twice and plan to come back. It’s clean, the staff are nice, and being outside the city makes it really quiet.
