Carpentiere Arena Hotel & SPA

We had such a relaxing time, and I’d gladly return. The food was delicious, while the staff were attentive and always ready to help. You can rent bicycles to ride around the mountains, which was a real bonus. The place itself is beautiful, with lovely service and a peaceful atmosphere.

The rooms are on the small side, but they’re thoughtfully equipped with a fridge, outlets, bedside tables, a hair dryer, smart TV, comfortable mattresses, and furnished balconies. There are separate entrances from both the room and bathroom. We-fii worked well, too. The Romanian-style breakfast was tasty and had plenty of variety, and everything we ordered for dinner was delicious. There are hot tubs available all year, plus a jacuzzi and wet and dry saunas. Services are adapted to each guest’s particular needs. The scenery is gorgeous and makes you want to hike, cycle, or trek.

After a day out hiking, the clean, modern saunas and steam room were a lovely way to unwind. I also really enjoyed the outdoor pools, especially sitting in the warm water with the mountain views around me. My room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of natural light from the large windows. The staff were attentive and friendly without hovering, and the hotel had a nice balance of luxury and an easygoing feel. It’s a beautiful mountain setting with fresh air, a welcome break from city life. I left feeling refreshed and already thinking about coming back. This 4-star hotel exceeded my expectations.

The food was one of my favorite parts, especially the traditional Romanian dishes and the varied breakfast buffet. The rooms were cozy and spotless, and the staff were very polite and helpful. Hotel Carpentiere is set among beautiful mountain scenery, with lovely views and fresh air. Its facilities include a sauna and jacuzzi, which made the stay especially relaxing. A comfortable place with great service, and one I’d recommend for a restful getaway.
