The interior courtyard and patio look great, and there are a few parking spaces out front. The location is awkward to reach because of all the traffic restrictions in the area. Nearby there's an attractive riverside, and with some repairs and more suitable finishes, this could be a lovely place for a longer stay. Inside, the antique furniture is beautifully detailed and in great condition, and the whole place feels like stepping back a century. The restaurant looks nice, but unfortunately it was closed on Sunday evening. Some things feel dated: for instance, the bathroom ventilation wasn't working. The lacquer on the old architraves looks plastic to the touch and doesn't suit them. The modern door locks are a bit too noisy for my taste, though they fit the setting fairly well.

We got married at this beautiful hotel, and our guests from Germany enjoyed it a lot. The garden is enchanting, the rooms were very clean, and breakfast was delicious. Service was really friendly too. Whenever we're in Romania, we'd happily return to Poesis.

The rooms each have their own decor, and the atmosphere is lovely. In summer, it's especially nice to sit out on the terrace.

It's a warm, traditional hotel with a nice garden where you can have breakfast or spend the evening. Sadly, pets aren't allowed. The hotel has a restaurant serving traditional food in its basement.

My wife and I stayed for one night. Finding a good place in Satu Mare was really difficult.
