We were there in August 2016. It's a simple but pleasant, clean campsite, with unrestricted hot water and clean toilets. The owner, a mother and daughter, are delightful and helpful, and they speak English very well. I recommend the place and plan to visit again next year, especially since the unique "merry cemetery " in Sapanta is nearby. If you arrive and find the gate closed with no staff around, don't worry. Take the chain off the gate and go inside, then sort out the formalities later. Bring Romanian money, though, because they don't accept charge cards. That's a general problem in Romania anyway.
