Pension Cabana Art

The cabin is well placed for ski slopes, tourist routes, and nearby attractions, with things to do in both summer and winter. Our hosts were wonderful, and the food was good. The room was perfectly decent, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom clean with plenty of hot water. We also had a balcony with a nice view. I had a great stay and recommend it.

The map pin is off: the place is next to Cristalin hotel. Once there, we found lovely people, good accommodation, and a restaurant worth trying. The ingredients are fresh and local, and the chefs know what they’re doing. I’ve eaten at restaurants all over Romania, and this is among the best. I’d gladly come back.

We came away feeling this was one of the highlights of our trip, and we’ll definitely return. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, even though they were fully booked and expecting a group the next day. They treated us like family, offered us a drink, and helped us plan what to see and how to travel around the area. The rooms are huge, among the biggest around, and the accommodation is great. The menu is a bit limited, but the food is excellent. Try the mushroom stew.

The view and location are amazing, and the staff were so great I could give them five stars. But the place itself was really bad. There was a bad smell, breakfast was poor, and coffee cost extra. There was no water or juice with breakfast. The conditions were horrible.
