The food was a real highlight for me. I’m raw vegan, and they made me a lovely salad at every meal, keeping it simple without oil, salt or vinegar. Breakfast was an open Swedish buffet with plenty of choices, including tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, nuts, seeds, raisins, dates, bananas and tangerines. The staff were warm, welcoming and accommodating. I was here for a work weekend with a larger group. The chalet is about an hour from Brasov city, in a beautiful, peaceful setting that felt far removed from city noise. There are lots of spacious rooms across several floors, with a cozy rustic feel from all the wood. I shared a clean triple room with two colleagues, with a king-size bed and a single bed. The bedding was comfortable, and we made good use of the TV and listened to music. The bathroom had plenty of space and a cute little window. Hot water was available at any hour, and the shower doors closed properly so water stayed off the floor.
