Belgrade Modern Hostel

We were very satisfied with this hostel. It’s centrally located, with comfortable rooms, clean modern bathrooms, and friendly staff. The kitchen was the weak point: it only had a microwave and no cooking plates, so preparing food was difficult.

There were bed bugs all over our room when we arrived. I told the staff, but they were rude and said it wasn’t their problem. I chose not to stay and asked for a refund. They said they’d return my money, but I still haven’t received it. This hostel is awful. Don’t stay here unless you want to bring home some little friends.

When you lose your way, Belgrade is always a good direction. For five bucks a night, you get a roof over your head in an incredibly central location, plus a fantastic space, a wonderful coworking area, and a spa on the ground floor. It felt warm and safe, and was a nice place to meet new friends and catch up with old ones. My strongest recommendation.

From this hostel, everything in the city is close by. It’s a great base for exploring, having a good time, and meeting other travelers. Worth considering if that sounds like your kind of place.
