The best things were the balcony view and the hostel's spot on the most central street. The rest was rough. The bathroom was old and used by lots of people, and when we asked if the tap water was safe to drink, we were told yes even though it looked brown. The owners spoke only Serbian, not English, though luckily they understood Russian. We'd booked for four, but two Croatian girls were put in our room too. One of them opened my friend's bag and took her perfume. The owners had given us a key to lock the room, and the other guests had one as well, so I don't blame the owners for the theft. Still, don't share a room with strangers.

You'll need to walk about 150 meters beyond the spot marked on the map. The woman at reception doesn't speak English, so communication may be a bit difficult. You can stay here, though how easily you manage to communicate is up to you.

The place felt old, and the bathroom didn't look clean. I came away disappointed. There are plenty of better hostels for the same price, or maybe even less.
