Milka made me feel so welcome, and the views over the Danube are beautiful. The place has great facilities and sits beside the best restaurant in town. I had the best steak I’ve ever tasted there. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting. :) Gerry

The house looked beautiful when we arrived, but the stay was stressful and invasive. We’d booked the whole place for 12 people and told the landlady in advance that another couple and their children might visit during the day but wouldn’t stay overnight. She had no objection at the time. Only the 12 booked guests slept there, as agreed, and the visiting family left around 7 PM. Even so, strangers walked into the backyard without warning, and the landlady came in herself at 8:30PM on a Saturday in August. She complained that we were “bothering people,” although we were using the speaker she had provided at a normal volume, especially since there were babies and kids with us. It spoiled a reunion we’d been looking forward to for years. The following day, she threatened to get the booking guest banned from Booking.com, said she had cameras “everywhere” despite us not consenting to being filmed, and accused us of having more guests than agreed. She had even put out an extra mattress “just in case,” then later used it against us. Rules seemed to appear after payment, and the whole experience was tainted beyond repair. Truly a disgrace. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

The apartments are modern, with a wonderful view of the Danube. It’s a very nice, welcoming place to stay, and the staff are kind and friendly.

That sunrise is something else if you’re up early. The pool and amenities were super clean, and after a long day commuting, it was just what we needed. The host was extremely kind and explained everything. You can also get food delivered from the restaurant next door.
