Mövenpick Kigali

The hotel is brand new and beautifully designed, but the hospitality is what made my visit special. Staff were sincere and went out of their way to make me feel cared for. My room had a generous welcome basket of fresh fruit and a handwritten card. When I arrived, they greeted me with singing and a lovely cake at the door. It was unexpected and thoughtful, and made me feel celebrated and very welcome. The staff, welcome, and room were all exceptional. Of the hotels in Kigali, this one really stands out, and I’d return in a heartbeat.

At the Elephant Bar in Mövenpick Hotel Kigali, Oscar made the experience memorable. He was attentive, charismatic, and very professional, knew the menu inside out, and gave us helpful recommendations. His warmth, energy, and eye for detail made us feel valued. Service like that is rare, and I’ll definitely return.

The interior at Movenpick Kigali is striking, with a unique, luxurious look that still feels warm and elegant. Getting around the hotel was easy because everything was clearly arranged. The brunch met my expectations: lots of delicious choices, thoughtfully prepared, and you can tell the chefs care about their work. The waiters were welcoming, disciplined, and always ready to help with a smile. A great experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for top-class hospitality in the heart of Kigali.

As a photographer, I notice lighting, design, and atmosphere, and Mövenpick Kigali stood out on all three. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and beautifully designed, with stunning views. Staff were warm and professional from check-in through check-out, always helpful and smiling. I also enjoyed the well-prepared food and wide choice of dishes. The outdoor pool and relaxation areas were excellent for unwinding after a long day. Close to the Kigali Convention Centre and easy to reach, it works well for business or leisure. The atmosphere was elegant but welcoming, and it’s among the best places I’ve stayed in Kigali so far. I’d gladly stay again.
