The grounds are what made this place special for my friend and me. It's a lovely spot for parents and kids, with a playground, a petting zoo, and cute cats wandering around without pestering anyone. There's no entry fee or minimum purchase, and they even keep diapers by the changing table in the restroom. It feels like children can come have fun even if their families aren't paying customers, which made the visit feel welcoming. For that, I moved my rating from three stars to four. My friend is staying in one of the six rooms, and I didn't stay overnight myself. I gave the rooms three stars because a resort centered on children should have a fridge, microwave, or kettle, but none of the rooms has one. Parents need somewhere to store milk and food and heat bottles or meals, and it made things difficult for my friend. Service also gets three stars. No one came over to ask if we needed anything, so one of us had to ask for water and then go find someone to order food. It took about an hour to arrive. We guessed it was being cooked fresh, given the wait.

Nature Kigali has a calm, homey feel, with comfy couches and good service. The kids love the playground, and the kids' menu is nice, especially the margarita pizza. The food in general is good too. It's a peaceful place to unwind while the children play nearby.

We've been regulars at Nature Kigali since my kids and I arrived in Kigali, though we haven't stayed there overnight. We first went for my oldest child's birthday, which was amazing, and kept coming back. It's a convenient spot with playgrounds, animals, and an entertainer for the kids, while adults can relax in nature. The menu works for children and adults with different dietary needs, including plenty of vegetarian choices. Staff communicate in a friendly, helpful way, they're flexible with the menu, and the food comes quickly. They also accept all major credit cards. I'd highly recommend it, especially to families.
