The rooms are spacious, and the lobby is large. Getting to Al Qaria Souk is easy from Al Diyafa Hotel, and the original design seems thoughtfully planned. But the place shows clear wear, and the maintenance hasn't kept up. Breakfast was pretty limited too, mostly croissants, white bread, tea cakes, karak tea, black coffee, and juice that wasn't good quality. Better upkeep and more breakfast choices would make a real difference.

The price I got through Booking two days ahead was good, but I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. My room smelled of smoke, the bathroom was dirty, and the Wi-Fi barely worked in the room. I stayed for two days, and on the second night a child was crying in a nearby room, so I couldn't sleep. I didn't like the place much.

The housekeeping was the worst part and needs more attention. The staff, though, were super friendly and helpful, so it was still a good experience overall.
