Mora Hotel Al Khobar

I had a confirmed reservation made 10 days before my trip, and I messaged the hotel's official WhatsApp number a few hours before arriving to confirm I was on my way. Everything seemed fine until I got there. The manager on duty, whom I described as an “Egyption guy,” said my reservation had been canceled because I arrived at 6 PM. He was aggressive and unprofessional. He claimed this was “hotel policy worldwide,” which I don't believe is true, and dismissed my WhatsApp confirmation as “just a chat” and “meaningless,” even though it was the official number. The situation was stressful and felt threatening, as if a mistake was being covered up by blaming me. I left feeling that my booking had been taken or mishandled, and the manager was rude and defensive instead of trying to fix things. I had to make a new booking at the front desk at a different price and with a different room preference. Since I'd already arrived, I felt I had no choice. The hotel itself is clean and relatively new, and the Saudi staff were great, but they couldn't do anything because of the manager. After this, I don't recommend it at all. A hotel needs professional and honest management as well as good rooms, and this place failed completely. Even if it advertises cheap prices and offers, I think it's a trap. Be careful.
