Dar Raies Hotel

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the location has a great restaurant next door and a grocery shop across the road. It’s 3.9 km from the Haram. Still, I’d never stay here again. You can pay less for somewhere better. The building is old and smelly, with cheap materials and decor that looks 40 years out of date. Don’t trust the online photos. I could hear guests in both adjoining rooms talking and using the restroom, and I’m writing this while listening to the next door guest’s alarm clock. Despite advertising a shuttle to the Haram, they only pick you up in front of the hotel and drop you at an extremely hectic bus station, where you have to catch a coach. The return works the same way.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The rooms are very clean and the receptionist is kind. I’d definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks again.

🔴Don’t book here🔴 🔴The reviews are for the venue hall, not the hotel.🔴🔴 DON’T TRUST THE PHOTOS. The smell is horrible and seems to be in the walls. An employee keeps spraying air freshener, but it still smells the same. The bathroom and bed both smell disgusting, and the water is brown. The shuttle service is awful, the driver is never there, and it doesn’t take you to the Haram. No one answers the phone at reception. Everything smells musty, in the bathroom and rooms. Don’t believe any of the pictures.

Mashallah, the staff are so nice and everything is perfect 🫡
