Dar Al Rahma Ajyad Hotel

Mr. Mohammad at reception had a good personality, and the room servant from Bangladesh on the third floor was helpful. The hotel is near masjid-e-nabawi and was good, but the rooms were very small and uncomfortable.

The restaurant menu barely changes. Most days it’s sausage and meatballs, then it changed once to chicken soy sauce before going straight back to sausage and meatballs. The food isn’t good.

The food tastes pretty decent and is very Indonesian, and room service was also quite good. Our quad room wasn’t really big, though. The hotel is cheap, near the Haram, and has some parking for private cars, but it sits on a steep hill. There are three elevators, but only two are open to the public. They’re slow, and you can’t see the floor number except on the first two floors, I think, the lobby and restaurant.

We came for the "viral indonesian restaurant" inside the hotel, but regretted it as soon as we ordered. There’s no proper system for handling orders, the service was poor, the food tasted bad, and the staff were rude. Definitely won’t return or recommend it.
