The shuttle took an hour in October, which is low season, and the claim that a bus comes every 20 minutes is simply untrue. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. The place was dirty, from the floor and sofas to bread crumbs left on the furniture. There was no room service, and the check-in was unpleasant. No one was at reception, so I waited 15 minutes for the receptionist to arrive, and she was very rude.

The rooms are fine, but the distance from the Haram is a major problem. There were no buses available at any time of day. Whenever I asked about transport, I got the same answer: there wasn’t a bus right then. Reception also wouldn’t provide more than one entry card per room, regardless of how many people were staying there. That was very inconvenient and impractical.

The bellboys don’t do their jobs, and the recipes are hardly ever seen.

The hotel is cheap, but cleanliness is an issue. There were insects flying in the bathroom, the carpet was dirty, and the old bedding had fluff on it. WiFi only worked at reception, couldn’t handle many users, and would hang until it had to be switched off.

On my first stay here, the room was neat and clean, and customer service was excellent. Someone regularly came by to bring toilet tissue and empty the bins.
