Rahaf Al Mashaer Al Mahbas Hotel

I paid for 8 days but left after 3 because of all this: the place was unhygienic, the AC was bad, rooms were tiny, and it was very far with no bus. Parking wasn’t free, there was no kitchen, and random sounds, a fire alarm, happened every night. It smelled bad too. The employees aren’t rude, but don’t even think about coming here, for God’s sake. There are many hotels that are cheaper and closer.

There are shops, a supermarket and a pharmacy around the hotel, plus it has a large private mosque. The free bus gets you to Harram in about 2 minutes. My room was clean enough, with a nice view and decent bedding; the bathroom was acceptable too. There are plenty of elevators, so I never had to wait long. The room has AC, a small fridge, kettle, water heater and TV. Service was okay, though they only cleaned the room every three days or so. It’s a great deal, and I’d choose it again for my next trip, inshallah.

There’s a fire alarm every morning for no apparent reason, and there’s no room service. This may have been a good hotel once, but now it’s a complete dump. It’s not a good place to stay anymore.

The free bus runs around the clock from the hotel entrance to Haram and back, and there are several fast elevators. There’s a large sitting area downstairs, as well as a small market inside the hotel on the ground floor. It has most things you might need, though the prices are a bit high. The rooms are clean and tidy, with four beds and clean bedding, a small fridge, electric kettle and LED TV. The washroom is good and there’s a hair dryer. It’s a great option for pilgrims and tourists. Fully recommended.
