I stayed for nearly a week. The room was reasonably clean, but the housekeeping service and staff attitude were disappointing, and the kitchen water tap was loose. The internet was extremely poor and sometimes didn’t work at all. The hotel is quite far from the Haram, which can be inconvenient for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

My stay here felt a little different because I spent most of my time at the haram.

The worst hotel I’ve seen in my entire life. The room was really dirty, the kitchen was broken, and the service was terrible. They don’t care about you.

The service was extremely poor, and the room conditions were unacceptable. When we arrived, there were no towels and the toilet was dirty. The phone was disconnected, so we couldn’t call the front desk. The electric stove didn’t work, and the AC fan was stuck on maximum with no remote to adjust it. I asked twice for a remote and never got one. There were three of us but we were initially given just one access card, which had to stay plugged in for power. Without a spare, you’re stuck if you leave it in the room. Management gave us one more card when I spoke to them, but that still wasn’t enough for three people. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The only good thing was the 10-15 minute walk to the haram. On the way, though, you have to pass waste containers that make the whole street smell. Inside, the rooms were dirty and smelled bad, with cockroaches everywhere. Our bedding had fresh stains, and the toilet leaked throughout our stay. The room wasn’t turned over, and they didn’t provide basics like toilet paper or towels. When we asked, we were told they’d run out. The windows did little to block the noise from the busy street below. There were too few working lifts for the number of guests, and each time we waited over 10 minutes to use one.
