I came with my kids and was really satisfied with the stay. The Haram is less than 1 km away, so you can walk there and back for each prayer. Nearby, there are plenty of Pakistani, Bengali, and Hindi hotels. The hotel has 17 floors, and the lifts aren't crowded except around the start and end of prayers. There's a separate cleaner and maintenance person on every floor, and he can understand English, Urdu, Bengali, and Hindi. They're constantly cleaning the carpets, and the hotel itself is neat and clean. The receptionists understand English, which is a real plus. Just bring your own water and kettle, as the hotel doesn't provide those. It wasn't a big issue for us.

The place outside the hotel was dirty, with standing drainage water that made the area feel unhealthy and unsafe. Inside, the room was very dirty and smelled bad, and the washroom was filthy and unhygienic. Staff were rude, unprofessional, unhelpful, and didn't care about complaints. The internet barely worked. Poor maintenance made the whole stay uncomfortable, and it wasn't worth the money. I'd strongly tell people to avoid this hotel. One of the worst hotel experiences I've had.

My family and I felt humiliated and unwelcome after a staff member shouted at my three-year-old son until he was upset and crying. The same person raised their voice at my wife and me, too. That was disrespectful and unprofessional, and families with young children shouldn't be made to feel intimidated at a hotel. Zalalnazla Hotel also required a 200 deposit for supposed security, which felt excessive and wasn't clearly explained when we booked. They then charged another 100 over stains on the bedsheets, while other hotels clean such marks for free without complications. I would caution families to think twice before staying at Zalalnazla Hotel.

We checked in on February 15, and by February 20 they still hadn't come to service the room. The carpets were damp and smelled awful. The staff seemed lazy, and the hotel has no clean mentality. They had everything on the room service cart but didn't provide anything.
