Aya Hostel For Shared Bedrooms

A clean, nice place with good rates and customer service. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk at most to Haram, or you can take Uber or Careem for 11-15 SAR, depending on the time of day. Well worth the money for a solo traveller.

A masjid nearby is handy if you need to catch a prayer quickly, and restaurants for all meals and supermarkets are easy to find around the hostel. The direct walk to Al Haram Al Nabawi takes about 20 minutes, with shops on the way for gifts, food, nuts, money exchange, and ice cream. The hostel itself is clean and well organized, with kind, friendly staff. It has two floors, an elevator, a dining area, and an Arab Tent where groups can sit, eat, drink, and watch TV. There’s also a place to dry your own laundry, though I wish it were bigger and less visible. I was totally satisfied with my stay. One of the best values for the price, and thanks for the good times!

The staff were very friendly, and our room was clean. We rented the suite, which had a master bedroom, a second bedroom with three beds, a living area with a sofa, a kitchen, one bathroom with a tub, and a veranda with seating. The Haram is a 15-minute walk away. The main Hostel is for men, while the suite can be used with a family. God willing, we’ll return. Highly recommend it.

The people were great and the place was clean. I honestly can't say enough good things about it, absolutely perfect. 10/10, I would stay here again and, In Shaa Allah, I will.
