The room was in awful shape, with cockroaches everywhere and a bad smell from the toilet. We’d booked parking, but there was no space available. After arriving late and exhausted, we also found nobody at reception at first. When we asked for help, the receptionist was eating and seemed careless. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

It’s very close to Masjid Nabawi, but the service was extremely poor. I personally wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The room itself was just okay, and I wouldn’t really recommend it. The carpet was very old and had a burn mark in the middle. We were on the 9th floor, in room 911, but could hear people talking outside by the room and lift as if they were in our room. It was noisy, and other guests knocked on our door by mistake several times, disturbing our sleep before apologizing. When we arrived for our week-long Rawza visit, the reception was very crowded and nobody helped with our luggage. The floor was busy, there was no welcome or greeting, and I had to take all my bags up in the lift myself. It was an uncomfortable stay, and I don’t want to come back.

I found more than 5 cockroaches during my stay at Al Fakhamah Al Dhahabi Hotel, which made me really uneasy about the hygiene. There was no toilet paper, the sheets looked worn, and the toilet door was noisy and broken.

Everything else was okay, but the food was amazing! Even the food at a 4 star hotel in Mecca couldn’t match how good it was. Thanks to the caterer from Iraq!
