Golden Pearl Hotel

The hotel’s location was a drawback for us. It’s quite far from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, which made it less convenient for Ziarat and frequent prayers. The service during our stay was disappointing too. There were no ironing facilities, our request for extra room access cards was refused even though we were four guests, and when I asked for toiletries and tissues, I was told to use items from reception instead of being given standard supplies. Before travelling from Riyadh to Medina, I’d spoken several times with the receptionist, Mr. Mustafa, who confirmed a fixed room rate. I offered to pay online in advance, but he said we could pay when we arrived. Once we got there, they told us the price had gone up by approximately 25% and no rooms were available at the agreed rate. That was unexpected and disappointing after the earlier confirmation. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend it to families or anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and reliable service.
