The staff were consistently professional and friendly, and the accommodations were spacious. Being near Masjid Al-Nabawi, especially door 319, was a big advantage, with plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. The menu did get repetitive, though, and could use more variety for guests staying longer. Even so, I had a highly commendable experience overall.

At $217/night, this felt far too expensive for what we got. The room was extremely small, with so little space that some guests had to leave their bags outside. The bed was hard and so small it seemed made for kids. If you’re taller than 160cm, I’d avoid staying here. This was the most uncomfortable hotel I’ve stayed in, and the reception staff didn’t seem to care about offering service.

Our room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. We had towels, soap, shampoo, tissues, an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, and a safe deposit box. Breakfast was included, freshly prepared each morning after Fajr, with lots of choice and food that tasted great. We didn’t ask for full room cleaning, only for the bathroom to be cleaned once. Housekeeping will clean when needed if you leave your room card on the door handle. The location was extremely convenient, directly opposite Gate 338 of the Haram, the women’s entrance. Men can also enter there and turn left or right for the men’s section. The reception area was lovely and clean. Check-in took around 20 minutes because the staff member couldn’t find our booking and had to check with the manager. The reception staff could have been more welcoming, but housekeeping were friendly and helpful throughout. We stayed on the 2nd floor and were glad stairs were available, since only three elevators were operating and they got busy, making the waits longer. We had a lovely stay and will definitely come back InshAllah. Highly recommended.

The kindness of Mustaqeem and the other bellmen who work with him made the stay tolerable. They were caring and far more helpful than reception. The location was good too. Apart from that, I really wish I’d listened to the bad reviews. For what we paid, the hotel wasn’t worth it. Reception didn’t make us feel welcome, especially after we’d stood in a long check-in line. The room was cramped, with nowhere for our luggage except the narrow walkway between the beds. The beds were tiny and low, more like kids’ beds than adult beds. Breakfast was disappointing. The bathroom was so small that everything got wet when we showered, since there was no proper shower door, and bugs were flying around. We had a minor issue just after check-in, but had to speak to reception four or five times before anyone came. It was really frustrating.
