Maden Taibah Hotel

There was barely room to move around comfortably, and the rooms felt far too cramped for the price. Parking was another serious problem. No spaces were available, so we spent a couple of extra hours driving around the city looking for somewhere suitable. If parking is full, they should manage bookings accordingly or let guests know in advance. We arrived right at 12:30 PM but couldn't check in until 1:00 PM. Even then, our room wasn't ready, and we waited much longer than expected.

The iftar was the highlight for me, with a great breakfast, South Asian, Indo Pak dishes, and drinks like rooh afza. I booked breakfast online, and at check-in they asked whether I wanted iftar or suhoor, instead of pushing just one option like many hotels do. I was extremely happy with the meal. The hotel is one of the newest and best in medina, though a little pricey. I visited for Umrah in 2026. Rooms are reasonably spacious, clean, and have a wide sofa that can work as an extra bed. The hotel is new or renovated. It's about a three minute walk to haram piazza and close to the ladies' prayer area. A thumbs up, with no bad experience.

The room was small, but its careful design made up for the size, with lots of thought put into traveler comfort. It was very clean and had great pillows, luxurious towels, a clean ironing board and iron, a thick prayer mat, and an Al Quran. The breakfast spread was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks to everyone who made our stay memorable, from reservations and Mr Hamzah to reception, bell boys, housekeeping staff Ismail and his colleagues, servers, chefs, and the rest of the team. The young man at reception was so polite and helpful, though sadly we forgot his name. A great hotel with an excellent location near the Ladies Gate and Bin Dawood. We'll look for the Maden name on future trips to Madinah, and wish they had a hotel in Mecca too. Highly recommended.

I appreciated how understanding and flexible the hotel was when a flight issue affected my plans. They approved a refund even though my reservation was prepaid. The booking was handled professionally, and the customer service was excellent. Highly recommend them, and I'll book here again.
