Mubarak Al Masi Hotel

The rooms were fairly spacious and the staff were friendly. The location was perfect, literally a 2-minute walk to the Harm. There’s a money exchange right next door, and food was easy to find. Five out of five.

The rooms aren’t very big, but that didn’t bother me given what I was there for. It’s fairy clean, and there are plenty of nearby shops for food, clothes, and other things. The mosque is less than a 5-minute walk away. The elevators can take a while, with big queues and no lines.

The location near masjid e nabwi is the only good thing. My room had five beds, one shower, hardly any space, and no microwave. There’s no wifi in the room, and no air conditioning in the lobby. The manager was rude, shouting and disrespecting me. The lifts stop at every floor for no reason, and getting one during salah time is impossible because of the crowds. I had two power cuts while in the lift within five minutes, wasting valuable time during ramadan. If you’re staying on the 14 th floor, good luck getting to reception and back. Avoid at all costs.

The rooms are nice, and it’s quite close to Masjid al Nabawi. It’s a casual place. Getting an elevator can be tricky around breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
