The restaurant and staff were lovely, and they helped us arrange outings nearby. We had a great day snorkeling at a local beach, meeting people and hearing about life there. Gizo has a laid-back tropical feel and an interesting local market. We really enjoyed our two nights at Gizo Hotel. Our room had a verandah looking over the harbour, and they picked us up from the airport by boat.

The rooms were clean, roomy and comfortable, with air conditioning and fans. Many look out over the tropical gardens and pool. Staff were friendly and very helpful, and the restaurant and bar area were lovely. It’s close to the markets and the boat to the airport. Definitely the best place to stay in Gizo.

The food was great, and the laundry service was efficient. It took a couple of tries to get a room with working air conditioning, but the friendly staff got it sorted. The pool was out of action while I was there, though that was okay.

Restaurant only: I stopped in for a quick dinner and was very happy with it. The meal seemed fresh, and it was quick and affordable, about 30 minutes from walking in to paying. 😊👍

Handy for getting around, since the hotel is near the center and port. I loved staying here, though I wasn’t impressed by the restaurant.
