Buisson Guesthouse

Breakfast was a treat every morning. Doris brought eggs, pancakes, toast, fried bananas, and a plate of fresh fruit, which we enjoyed while watching Gekkos move around the nearby leaves and bushes. The guest house felt like a hidden garden paradise when we first arrived. Our room was clean, cooled easily with the AC and ceiling fan, and had an outdoor shower and space to rinse off sand after the beach. The owners were friendly and helped us plan our days on the island. It’s close enough to the main street to get around easily, but set back enough that we didn’t hear noise in the evenings. We really loved staying here and would recommend it for a trip to La Digue.

The garden was lovely, and our room was very clean. Doris and Charles were so warm and made us feel at home. Doris’s homemade jam is a must at breakfast, which was the best. The guesthouse is near the jetty and within easy biking or walking distance, so we didn’t need a taxi. We had a wonderful time on La Digue and made memories we’ll keep. I hope we can stay here again soon.

The room was spotless, with a lot of care put into how it was presented. Breakfast was excellent too, with pancakes, omelettes, fruit, and more. Doris gave us a very warm welcome, and her tips and friendly chats were helpful throughout. She also arranged bike rental for us at half the price other providers charged. We especially looked forward to the meals here. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with fresh ingredients and local flavors, and every meal felt like a treat. Doris, Charles, and Susanne welcomed us with genuine warmth from the moment we arrived. Our rooms were comfortable, relaxing, and impeccably clean and well cared for. Buisson Guest House was a charming, welcoming place to stay on La Digue, and we can recommend it wholeheartedly.
