Everything about this place is top tier. We’ve stayed in the Coco jaune room three times now, most recently for three nights. On the second night, we celebrated our 8years Anniversary, and my wife surprised me with a room decoration arranged by Prasad Ganegada. The receptionist and a male staff member, whose names I don’t remember, were both friendly and professional. Maybe next time there’ll be a small amenity for us as repeat guests.

This was a good place for a short stay. The male staff member greeted me warmly at reception, and tableware was provided so I could prepare simple food, though it should be washed before use. Small bugs often came inside at night. You can rent a bicycle here. One female staff member gave a lot of explanations but was unfriendly. It’s better to communicate with the male staff.

Our grandmother died while we had this apartment booked for two nights, so we needed to change our return ticket. We contacted the owner 48 hours before arrival to ask about cancelling. At first, the owner ignored our messages. On the morning we were due to arrive, he replied that a refund wasn’t possible but offered to let us use the booking at another time. The money isn’t the point here. We were dealing with a family tragedy, and we wanted some humanity in those circumstances. I strongly don’t recommend this accommodation at all.

We had one of our best weekends on La Digue at casa de Leela. The staff were so friendly and ready to help whenever we needed it. You can rent bikes there too, and there are other facilities for exploring the island. Thank you for everything! ❤️

The apartment was about 1.5 km from the ferry terminal, so getting there with luggage means walking or paying for a transfer. Once there, though, it was very peaceful, with three small, pretty pools and an outdoor shower. We enjoyed the interiors and the lovely balcony for stargazing. Service was prompt and good, and bikes were available to rent for 150 SCR, or €10, a day. We had a nice two-day stay, 29/03/24-30/03/24.
