The old-world feel of La Digue is still here, and the neighborhood felt safe. The property is central but quiet, and it's hard to find better value if you're on a budget. We stayed for two weeks in early October, first in the backyard room, which is the best budget option, then in a room on the lower floor. Both were tastefully decorated and very clean, with comfortable bedding and everything we needed. Each had a mini fridge, and there was also a designated spot for us in the shared kitchenette fridge, handy for keeping water and juice cold in the Seychelles heat. The couple who run it live next door and were always available to help.

The hosts were lovely and gave good recommendations, and I'd happily stay again. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils for whatever you want to cook, and both the rooms and shared spaces were very clean. The bathroom was spacious, with good water pressure and warm water. They also offer laundry cheaply, which was really convenient. Great value for money.

We felt welcome right away because the hosts were so nice and helpful. The place was spotless, with impressive attention to detail, and it was perfectly located for getting to the best beaches quickly. We had a wonderful stay, everything exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely return.

The kitchen worked well and the location was good. The outdoor area felt desolate. Alex came across more like a landlord than a host, and seemed interested only in money. To clarify, it wasn't just the bikes. He wanted the tax paid beforehand too, and everything else was paid in advance as well. That was just one small part of the landlord behavior.
