Mera was so kind and easy to communicate with, both before we arrived and during our stay. She helped with everything we asked for. The place itself was beautiful and spotless, tucked into a quiet, leafy setting, and the room was cleaned daily. We especially loved the little terrace, decorated so nicely that we ate breakfast and dinner there every day. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the bathroom was really spacious. There’s a shop nearby, bikes are available to rent at the property, and guests can shower and change after checkout if they’re spending more time at the beach. We had a lovely stay and would come back if we return to the island.

Mera made us feel at home, and we had a wonderful stay. The place was spotless and in a great location, with all the comfort and amenities we needed. Our host was so welcoming and friendly. I’d happily recommend staying here.

We stayed at Chez Mera over the Easter holiday. It’s a self-catering apartment about 10 minutes from the jetty, an easy walk if you’re not carrying much luggage. Set a little back from the main road, it was pleasantly quieter, and the rooms were comfortable with the basic amenities we needed. Ms. Mera and her kid were very humble and helpful, and made sure we had what we needed. They also have a very friendly dog. If you have time after sightseeing, go play with him in the evening.

The room was cozy and nicely decorated, and the washroom was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and they did our laundry very well. We also rented bikes from them. It was a very hot day when we arrived, and the AC hadn’t been turned on beforehand. It also cooled the room slowly at first, but Mera came to help and fixed the issue. After that, it was fine. Highly recommended.

The garden is beautiful, and the bungalows are really nice. The guest house was clean, and Mera, the owner, was always there if we needed help. Beach towels are provided, and you can rent a bike on site. It’s a peaceful spot, though dogs barking at night can wake you, so bring earplugs. The jetty is about a 10-minute walk away, and there’s a supermarket very close by. Other shops, restaurants, and takeaways aren’t far either.
