The owners' service was fantastic. They can help you find a rental car and have plenty of ideas for places to visit. If you're comfortable driving the B roads until they meet the main roads and want some privacy, this can be a great place to stay. The facilities were great, especially the balcony's sea view, and the kitchen was more than good enough for cooking. The shower was a little odd, but everything else was fine. The location is a bit far from things, around a 25-minute drive to Victoria, and the property is at the top of a steep hill. I wasn't prepared for the steep, narrow roads and deep gutters along each side. If you pay attention, you'll be okay, but be ready for them.

The quiet neighborhood felt safe, and the Indian Ocean was only a short walk away. I stayed at Dar & Douce for a month and loved the lovely view, the big windows, and a kitchen that worked well for me. I was comfortable and well rested, waking up each day to a view of paradise. The hosts were so kind, and the airport is nearby. This is a good place to come for some self-care. I highly recommend it for a stay in Seychelles.

The terrace looks out over the ocean, and the apartment is spacious and clean. There's a large living room with a TV, the WiFi worked well, and the kitchen had just about everything we needed. A lady made the beds each day and changed the sheets and towels every 2-3 days. It's one of four apartments in a small building, with a security gate and a small parking area. Peter was a great host. He waited for us, gave us the keys, explained the apartment, and was flexible about check-in and check-out. The place isn't far from the main road, but it's up a hill, so a car is helpful. There are restaurants and a bus stop within walking distance, though driving is more convenient, and a little shop nearby for snacks and water. Takamaka distillery, Anse Royale beach, and several supermarkets are also close by. Excellent value for the price.
