Julie's Holiday Home

We picked Mama (Julie) and Tata (Barry)'s place after reading the reviews, and they were right. Mama made a fantastic breakfast every morning, and the rooms were clean and well kept. They also gave us helpful, reassuring recommendations and advice for a great vacation.

The location is great, near several beaches and a well-stocked supermarket, as well as churches. The rooms, compound, and linen were all extremely clean and hygienic, and breakfast was excellent. The couple were friendly, kind, and supportive, and their service was world class. I’d highly recommend them to anyone wanting a home-style holiday, and I’ll definitely come back!

The house is beautiful, simple, and special. Our room was very clean, and we slept well the whole time. Mama Julie and Papa Barry were generous, kind hosts who wanted us to have a great local experience. We felt at home, enjoyed lovely conversations in the mornings, and had delicious food cooked by Mama Julie. Their humour was part of the fun too. It was a perfect start to our honeymoon in Seychelles, and we’ll miss Julie, Barry, and Nunush (the aordable dog)!

Julie cooked breakfast, and sitting around with the other guests meant we talked, laughed, and sometimes ended up doing the same activities. It was a really good vibe while I was there, hahaha. The owners do the hosting themselves, and they’re some of the kindest people I’ve met. They clearly enjoy welcoming guests and made me feel at home. They gave great advice, so ask them about Seychelles and what to do. The house and room were clean, and there’s a laundry service if you need it. I’m sure I’ll go back.
