Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island

We were sad to leave and are already hoping to come back soon. Ms. Lana made sure every wish was taken care of, and everyone working on the island was so kind. We’ve never had this much care and attention elsewhere. Our modern two-bedroom villa was lovely, with its own pool right beside the beach. We often had the beach nearly to ourselves, and the sea was calm enough that we didn’t have to worry about the children. We spotted plenty of crabs, small turtles, baby sharks, and rays. We explored the island by bicycle, then rode over to the airstrip after dinner to look at the stars. We enjoyed it so much. Thanks for everything! :)

We arrived by plane at Waldorf on a private island, which made getting to paradise feel like an adventure in itself. My husband had surprised me with the resort for our honeymoon, and it went well beyond what I’d imagined. Yogi met us when we landed, took us around the island, and checked us in right in our villa. The villa and property were gorgeous, and you could see how much care had gone into the room’s design. The amenities were great too, especially Aesop. Cycling on a runway was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and Chef Seb’s menus were stunning. The food was so good. What really made it memorable was how friendly the staff were. I loved chatting with everyone, and they made us feel at home. Yogi added sweet surprises in our room for the honeymoon and made the whole stay special. Even the small things stood out, like housekeeping leaving cleaners for our dirty sunglasses during turndown. I’d definitely recommend it and can’t wait to come back.

Svetlana, our concierge, made the visit feel effortless. She was kind and professional, kept checking that everything was going well, and took the initiative with activities and requests. Her genuine willingness to help made a real difference and gave the stay a personal touch. The villa was beautifully put together, kept immaculate, and had everything we needed. Outside, Platte Island was stunning, with clear water, pristine beaches, and the privacy that made it feel so special. The whole atmosphere and the team’s attention to detail were beyond what we expected from Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island. It’s a peaceful, luxurious place run by people who care about their guests. We’d gladly return and recommend it highly.

The setting at Waldorf Astoria Platte Island was peaceful and breathtaking, and the property had a real sense of luxury throughout.
