Acajou Beach Resort

We spent four nights at Acajou Beach Resort and came away with lovely memories. What we appreciated most was how easy it was to relax there and enjoy time together. The F&B team made a big difference. Bruno, Jay, Nawan, Bettina, and Suresh were warm and attentive, often thinking ahead and making the service feel personal. The kitchen staff also seemed proud of their work and were friendly. Meals were fresh, varied, and nicely presented. Our room was clean, comfortable, and ready for us to unwind in. The resort sits beside a beautiful stretch of beach, and the grounds are well cared for while still feeling unpretentious and authentic. It never came across as overly commercial. From arrival, the staff made us feel welcome. Their genuine friendliness and willingness to help made the whole stay comfortable. Thank you to everyone at Acajou. We’d gladly come back and recommend it.

The evenings at the restaurant had a nice buzz, with music and dance performances for guests wanting a bit of entertainment. The pool was pleasant too. Acajou Beach Resort is right by the ocean, with easy access to a lovely Praslin beach and beautiful sunsets. Our room was roomy and comfortable, with modern fittings and amenities. Staff were helpful and friendly, and both buffet meals, breakfast and dinner, had a good choice of dishes. It felt like good value for a relaxed seaside stay.

We especially appreciated how they arranged an early room for us after traveling with our baby. The staff were warm, professional, and playful with the little one, and it was clear they cared. We had a lovely three-night stay at Acajou Beach Resort. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a varied buffet and different options each evening. The relaxed, authentic atmosphere and location also made it a good base for exploring the island. They even went out of their way to return personal belongings I had left behind. That honesty and care meant a lot. Highly recommended.

The gardens are beautiful and the whole place has an island feel. The beach really is sea green in color. Indika, the chief chef, is an artist with food and clearly loves his work. He checks in with guests and was very accommodating about our dietary needs. Everything we ate was remarkable for quality, freshness, flavor, and presentation. If I come back to this island, I’d stay here again.
