Right in central Arboga and an easy walk from the train station. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a very comfortable bed; the curtains kept it nicely dark at night. Breakfast service was good, and the staff were really friendly. They even called in the morning when we’d got the breakfast closing time wrong. Great service, and such a lovely place!

The manager took great care of us, two tired travelers heading to Stockholm. The suites were lovely and comfortable, and breakfast had a wide range of choices.

6/10
Breakfast was tasty and filling, with a good selection, though there were no hot dishes. The hotel is close to the center and the river, and there’s free parking out back with its own entrance. The downsides were hard to ignore. There was an old-rag smell in all the corridors, though not in the room. On weekends, a disco bar across the road means boom-boom music and loud swearing through the night. The electrical work looked frighteningly bad, and the door handles and keys felt outdated.

The interior design was surprisingly nice. Beds were comfortable, if a bit small, and breakfast was a good classic Swedish spread.

Nothing fancy, but the hotel was totally okay. There was a bed, shower, TV, and desk in the room, plus breakfast and parking.
