This is the most hospitable place I've stayed, and we've been here three times. It's a wonderfully cosy, genuine family farm in beautiful countryside, and the rooms are clean, homely and have comfortable beds. Breakfast is delicious, served on charming old porcelain, with homemade yogurt, eggs and jam. The bread is made from their own grain, and the meat comes from the farm's sheep. Mellangården in Äpplerum is a lovely choice for an overnight stay or just a good breakfast made with local produce. We'll keep coming back 🌸💚

We only stopped for breakfast at this cosy, genuine family farm, and the detour was absolutely worth it. The host was incredibly nice, and the food felt homemade and local.

Staying on an old farm like this is a great way to experience life, food, animals and people on Öland. Hosts Helen and Michael gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast was wonderful, with homemade freshly baked buns, jams, yogurt and scrambled eggs from the farm. Highly recommended!

Mellangården is a genuinely lovely place, with beautiful trees and surroundings, and chickens and cats out in the yard. Helen was incredibly kind and helpful. Everything is cared for with so much attention. The rooms are clean, fresh and individual, and breakfast is delicious, with plenty of homemade and locally produced food. I can warmly recommend it.

Helene gives guests a fantastic welcome and takes great care of them. Breakfast is high quality and features plenty of local produce. There are lots of animals, making it an idyllic stay for children.
