Quality Hotel Galaxen

The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was tasty in a pleasant space. The room itself was basic. It's about a five-minute walk to the centre of Borlange, though there isn't much interesting to see there. The hotel's parking was full, but I found a free spot on the street right in front. Just check the signs carefully to see where parking is allowed.

I eventually got the jacket back, but only after a lot of hassle. I stayed two nights and left it at the hotel, then called five times to explain how urgent it was for me to get it back. They charged 155kr and said they'd sent it by express, so it should arrive the next day or the day after. Two days later it still hadn't shown up, and they'd used a service with no tracking. The jacket was rented, not mine, and their negligence left me out over 500kr. I'm very disappointed and won't come back. I wouldn't trust them to follow through.

The breakfast was one of the best I've had in Sweden, everything really fresh and good. I only wish I'd gotten up earlier so I could enjoy more of it. I loved staying here, and the location was good too.

Breakfast was alright, but what happened just after closing was unbelievable: housekeeping rushed onto the buffet while the restaurant was still full of guests. The staff were very impolite, and the whole atmosphere felt dreadful. The rooms are dated, the bathrooms even more so, and the place feels far below Nordic Choice standard. It's old and has no charm. If you can, stay somewhere else.
