The recent efforts around both downhill and cross-country skiing events have been positive, so I’ll give the place three stars. It’s mostly okay, though it’s not among Sweden’s major ski resorts. The people running it have changed many times over the years, and they’ve struggled to make it profitable.

A really nice place if you want to hike or spend time closer to nature. The staff are very friendly and do their best to help. Highly recommended!

The slopes are good, so if skiing or snowboarding is all you want, this place will do. It’s a nice resort, but the larger ones have more to offer, and the nightlife on and around Dundret is seriously lacking.

There’s a cafe at the top in summer, with a good view of the midnight sun. In winter, it’s a ski resort with downhill gear available to rent. The Hellner stadium was used for cross-country skiing World Cup events.

I wish negative ratings were possible, because that’s what I’d give this place. The reviews are completely misleading: it’s a hostel, not a hotel. It smells like a public toilet, and the beds look horrendous. Unbelievable.
