Hiking the trails or just unwinding among the quiet scenery and all the birdlife makes this a lovely place to visit in summer and autumn. It’s also busy in winter, with so many skiing options nearby. The family-run hotel is friendly and sits in beautiful surroundings.

The food and drinks were good, and the service was top drawer. I spent three days here with colleagues from work. Everything worked as expected, and I’d definitely recommend the place 🍺

There was lots of space for clothes in the good-sized room, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had, with plenty to choose from and eggs you can cook just how you like them. It felt like a homey hotel. I’d love to come back!

The staff were lovely and service-minded, and were generous about sharing their mountain experience. After a day out on the incomparable trails, the sauna was just right. The hotel has a lovely mountain view and is close to other services if you want them. It’s charming, clean, tidy, and has comfortable beds. We could take packed lunches on our daily hikes, and both the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. Highly recommended!
