The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable, even if they don’t have all the extras of a luxury hotel. Staff are especially helpful and go out of their way to make the stay pleasant. With an excellent location for exploring the city and good value, it’s a great choice if you care more about comfort and convenience than luxury.

This was the worst hotel I stayed in Sweden. The room smelled bad, the walls were thin enough that we could hear people talking next door, and the shower was bad. When we arrived at 6 pm there was nobody at reception, apparently due to staff shortages. One person was covering check-in and check-out as well as breakfast. The breakfast was the worst. The room was overpriced and didn’t look at all like the pictures on the website. The bathroom was moldy and in very poor condition, and the room smelled of mold too. We told the front desk and eventually checked out after one night, although we had paid for two. We got no refund, even after I pointed out that the room and hotel had been totally mis-sold. This makes Sweden look bad!

We arrived around 11pm after working very late, and the hotel owner welcomed us warmly. They even made us late-night sandwiches and hot drinks for free. Since we were up very early, coffee and breakfast were ready for us in the morning. Excellent service, highly recommended.

A clean, quiet and efficient place to stay overnight. Breakfast was included, with a very good and varied Swedish-style buffet. Highly recommended.
