Prästgården i Funäsdalen

A cozy place with all the equipment you might need, and an unbeatable location. The gondola, lake, ICA, ski rental, restaurants, and more are all an easy walk away. The slopes are lovely, there were no queues even during the winter break, and plenty to do after the lifts close. One lift pass works at several nearby ski areas if you want variety. Buy at least a month in advance for an even better price. Recommended.

We stayed in Funäsdalen over Easter. It was clean, fresh, and very cozy, in a peaceful setting while still being within walking distance of everything we needed. I especially liked the spacious rooms and the two showers by the sauna. The central location works well if you want to ski at both Ramundberget and Hamra.

We had northern lights dancing over the village all evening, and the big windows made it lovely to sit by the fire in the armchairs and look out. The spacious accommodation has a large kitchen and pleasant shared areas, with a sauna and wood-burning stove adding to the comfort. The location is hard to beat. ICA is across the street, and there's a shopping basket you can borrow for the day's groceries. If you forget something, it's only a five-minute fix. The best pizzeria is next door, with café Loftet and other shops close by too. You can walk to the Funäsberg Gondola, which has the best slopes in Funäsfjällen. Get on the slope as the lift opens, ski a run, head back "home" for lunch, then go up again. No driving needed. Funäsdalen at its best, highly recommended!

We have spent both summer and winter holidays at Prästgården and will definitely return. It's a wonderful place to stay near the ski runs and gondola in Funäsdalen. There's great downhill and cross-country skiing, lovely fishing opportunities, and good snowmobile trails for anyone after adventure and speed. Recommended!
