The meals were a real highlight of our five-night cold water swimming trip. Breakfast had just about everything, with plenty of gluten-free choices, and dinner brought a different separate vegan option each evening. I’m vegan and ate really well, with lots of fresh salads, sauces, breads, and other choices. The food selection was outstanding. The low lighting gave the dining room a lovely, classy feel, rather than the canteen atmosphere you can get at hotels that include dinner. Our twin room was small, but had what we needed, with exceptionally comfortable beds and bedding. There was a large bathroom with both a bath and shower, plus a powerful radiator. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is less than a five-minute walk from the train station. We also used the sauna in the gym in the same building for free. Ten out of ten!

The Fika, dinner, and breakfast were all excellent, with plenty of different options. We really enjoyed our stay: the place felt welcoming, everything was kept to a high standard, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Great value for money.

We had a really enjoyable stay, and I’d love to come back. The staff were so welcoming, and a funny host made checking in easy. The hotel felt secure, with key cards needed to enter and reach the floors. The dining room was spacious, open, and beautiful, and the meals came as a varied buffet.

Our room was huge, with a lovely comfortable bed, a kitchen area, a sitting area, and a walk-in shower. The hotel is around 400m from the rail and bus terminus, and staff were friendly and helpful. Fika, dinner, and breakfast are included. Breakfast had a great range of dishes; dinner was soup and a main course, nothing special but perfectly acceptable. I’d recommend Home Hotel Odin for a short break in Gothenburg 👍

The room was spacious for the three of us, the beds were comfortable, and I slept really well. Home Hotel Odin feels like a small, cosy place in the middle of the city rather than a standard chain hotel. Its location made it easy to explore on foot, and getting a train, tram, or bus was simple too. The staff were friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Roksana and Maria from breakfast. It was lovely to have a quick chat in Portuguese with you both (Muito obrigada! Voces são ótimas!). We enjoyed the delicious food, with lots of breakfast choices, the afternoon coffee and famous fika, and the great dinners. I’d happily stay at Home Hotel Odin again if I return to Goteborg 💙
