Hotel Eken Molndal

We had a double room with two bathrooms, one for each of us, and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was a quiet time when we visited. The hotel sits beside the E6, which makes it handy for a stopover once you realize you enter through the petrol station forecourt. Breakfast was lovely, with cooked food as well as cold platters. There are shops close by in the shopping centre.

I booked a standard room with a double bed, but was given the smallest room with bunk beds. The receptionist and manager wouldn't admit there had been a mistake or offer a refund or discount, even though the room was much worse than what I paid for. I can't recommend it.

For a motorway stopover, it has what you need. The staff are friendly, dogs are allowed, and the place is small but easy to find. There's an on-site restaurant with food and good beer. I'd probably stay again.

A decent, affordable roadside motel with a bit of an American motel feel and a hamburger restaurant downstairs. Breakfast was good, and the staff were nice.
